Coming in September: The Inventory Tales, a serial novel that will be free for everyone to read for as long as it lasts.
In fact, I’m planning to just start doing this for everything from now on – as long as it’s something I have all the rights to, I’ll be publishing all my stuff free on the internet a chapter at a time. (And then turning it into a book in the more usual sense too.)
To that end, I’ve set up a Patreon page, which you can view here. Yes, it’s Patreon, but every chapter will be published there for free and available to everyone. You’ll be able to pay to read chapters earlier than the general release, if you’re antsy and like feeling special, but at the moment I don’t plan to have any content that’s unavailable to free followers.
So the first thing on there will be The Inventory Tales, which I’m sort of thinking of as Recettear meets The Canterbury Tales: a young woman in search of a quieter life finds herself working in an item shop, where she meets a lot of people, sees a lot of items, and hears the stories behind them.
And that’s what I’m up to, and I’d love for you to join me on that, so please consider following the Patreon page – again, for completely free.
Chapters coming very soon!
And big thanks to Spruce and Cat on Fiverr for the spectacular cover illustration, as well as my friend E.M. Harding for the lettering.
